As many of you may know, SIXIN offers a diverse line of off the shelf products which are suitable for a wide range of applications. What really sets SIXIN apart from our competitors is our ability to collaborate and design products that meet the needs of specific industries and application in specific regions of the world. One such project was brought to us by a growing home care products producer that was interested in lower cost antifoam that could be distributed through a local supplier. SIXIN was up to the challenge.
With the help of the producer, we worked to tailor a specific silicone product to their fabric softener which would meet the stability and performance requirements outlined by the customer. SIXIN’s R&D team qualified a product internally and sent samples to the producer for their lab evaluation.
After completing the internal analysis and compatibility studies, the producer confirmed that the:
“SIXIN antifoam sample foam height level is less as compared to the standard and the defoaming rate is also improved compared to the standard. Antifoam from SIXIN showed better performance than the current approved standard product.”
